Job Summary

Millstone Power Station seeks an Administrative Assistant II to join the team.

Under general supervision, this role provides clerical and administrative/secretarial support to a management level(s), and department or staff. Performs general office duties such as: answering and screening telephone calls, making appointments and scheduling meetings, processing mail and faxes, composing correspondence, collecting, compiling and analyzing information and data, providing information on inquiries, maintaining and updating office supplies, assisting in maintenance of department files, performing data entry and maintaining and updating department informational databases. May process expense reports/invoices, provide budget tracking support, handle confidential records and information and make travel arrangements. Uses discretion in making decisions regarding planning, organizing and scheduling work. Provides general typing and word processing support. Regularly uses computer software such as word processing, spreadsheets, graphics and presentation software. Other duties as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

A minimum of three years of clerical/administrative experience is required

Experience working in an Industrial or power plant environment is preferred- Ability to collect, compile and analyze information and data- Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of employees- Proficient skills operating computerized and standard office equipment- Proficient in use of word processing, spreadsheet, graphics and presentation software (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)- Ability to understand company policies and procedures- Understanding of SAP and SAP time entry modules (or similar software)

High School Graduate , GED

Test Description

This job requires recommended test results from CEB/SHL Online Clerical Assessments (Proofreading, Classifying & Coding) administered on-line during the pre-employment process. The Classifying and Coding test measures the candidate's ability to classify and code items by categories. You will have 4 minutes to answer 70 questions. The Proofreading assessment measures the candidate's ability to read for errors involving spelling, punctuation, and grammar and word choice. It also measures the candidate's ability to correct those errors. You will have 6 minutes to answer 60 questions.
