Develop instructional materials and conduct training for various technical training programs at the Company's s nuclear power stations. An incumbent at this level should have in-depth knowledge of instructional design theory as well as expertise in the technical area for which he or she is providing training. This level works on the most complex training topics and is responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, implementing and evaluating training in the classroom, laboratory, and on-the-job. This level also is responsible for maintaining training programs in accordance with nuclear industry, regulatory, and legal requirements.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Required:12-13 years related experience in training or nuclear power operations.
Preferred: In depth knowledge of instructional theory and design and SAT.
Preferred: Current or previous RO/SRO license or SRO certification
Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication, good personal computer, operate various instrumentation and controls, problem solving.
Abilities:Analyze and develop training materials, train and lead others, interface with regulatory personnel and industry peers, informal leadership skills, ability to effectively communicate with regulators.
Education Level: Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor , Other Education: Education
